ABOUT DENNY CRUM
Head basketball coach for the University of Louisville from 1971 to 2001. In 1994, he was honored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He earned the nickname "Cool Hand Luke."
Won the Irv Pohlmeyer Memorial Trophy for being an outstanding freshman.
As a coach, he led his team to two NCAA Championships and six Final Four appearances. He was often called "Mr. March."
Married Joyce Elaine Lunsford in 1951.
He played himself in Denzel Washington 's film He Got Game.
