Moldovan singer, songwriter, and lyricist known by his stage name The Motans. He is recognized for his alternative pop music with influences from R&B and rock.
He grew up in Moldova but moved to Moscow after graduating from school. Before his music career, he worked a job in marketing. He started releasing music in 2016.
He chose his stage name and artist graphic based on the tomcats he saw in his dreams. He was a judge on season 10 of The Voice Romania.
His father played in a band and was one of his musical influences. He and his wife Bianca have a daughter.
Matei Dima was one of the first people to notice his music and helped promote his work. He has released music with Andra .
