ABOUT DENIS D'AMOUR
Guitarist for and founding member of the Canadian heavy metal band Voivod.
He was trained in classical violin as a child before making the switch to guitar.
He passed away from colon cancer in 2005.
He was surrounded by his family and friends in his final hours.
He drew heavy musical influence from Roger Waters and Pink Floyd.
