Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Texas Rangers during the 25th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. While pitching in the Rangers' minor league system, he was named the MLB Relief Pitcher of the Year by Baseball America in 2019.

He began his professional career playing for the Rangers' rookie affiliate team the AZL Rangers.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Los Angeles Angels on September 18, 2020.

He is a native of Petal, Mississippi.

He recorded his first career major league strikeout facing Jared Walsh .
