She earned a bachelor's degree in communications and Spanish from Loyola Marymount University. While there, she also served as an anchor and correspondent for Roar TV's "In The Know."

A beauty aficionado, she has appeared as a host on the lifestyle channel GlamBoothTV.

She feel in love with broadcasting in 1996 when, alongside her father, she performed a mock newscast while visiting the Atlanta CNN bureau during the Summer Olympics. Her father, José, is the President of Meridian Entertainment Management Group. She has a sister named Siara.

She has appeared on Glam Buzz alongside Vine star Kevin McNamara and YouTube's Tiffany Ma .
