David Rosen
ABOUT DAVID ROSEN
South African artist and fashion designer who had aclothing line called Reason8 that contained political fashion, art, and activism.
He worked as a Battalion magazine illustrator and in 1980, he was a student at the Cape Technikon School of Art.
He was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2008 and during his treatment, he recorded a visual diary of his experiences which became his first solo exhibition, Hotel Chemo.
He grew up with his family in Cape Town, South Africa.
Like him, Chris Riddell is a South African artist.
