David King
ABOUT DAVID KING
Former Australian Rules Football player who won the AFL premiership title in 1996 and 1999 while playing with North Melbourne. After his playing days, he started working for Fox Footy and SEN 1116 as an announcer.
He played for Port Melbourne before joining North Melbourne in 1994. He played with them until his retirement in 2004, kicking 145 goals in 241 games with the club.
He earned All-Australian honors twice during his playing days. He's also worked as an assistant coach for Richmond.
His mom birthed him on a Tuesday.
He and Wayne Carey were teammates on North Melbourne.
