ABOUT DAVID HUMPHREYS

Retired rugby union player who earned 72 caps for the Irish national team.

He studied law at Queen's University of Belfast.

He scored all 21 of Oxford's points in a victory over Cambridge in 1995.

His younger brother, Ian Humphreys, played rugby for Ulster.

He and Craig Gilroy both represented Ireland in international play.
