ABOUT DAVID HAVILI

New Zealand rugby union player who has gained fame as a member of Tasman, the Crusaders, and the New Zealand national team. He has played the fullback, center, and first five-eighth positions. He shares moments in his life as a rugby player on his davidhavili Instagram account.

He attended Nelson College where he played for the school's second XV.

He helped New Zealand achieve victory in the 2017 Rugby Championship. He also helped the Crusaders win their Super Rugby titles in 2018 and 2019.

His father, Bill Havili, played rugby for Nelson Bays.

He and Sam Whitelock have played as teammates for the Crusaders.
