A British radio and television presenter who is known for being called Diddy David Hamilton.
Until the age of seventeen he attended Glastonbury Road Grammar School in Surrey and then became a scriptwriter.
He has hosted over 1,000 TV shows and 12,000 radio shows, such as Match of the Day and Top of the Pops.
He was born David Pilditch but he adopted his mother's maiden name as his show business name.
He appeared alongside comedian Benny Hill .
