ABOUT DAVID FABER

American journalist who is best recognized for his financial coverage and his market news analysis for the CNBC network. He is also known for being the co-star of the morning show Squawk on the Street.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Tufts University in 1985 where he graduated cum laude. He started his career working at Institutional Investor before he joined the CNBC network in 1993.

He is known for having won a Peabody award in 2005 for his documentary The Age of Walmart.

He married fellow business journalist Jenny Harris.

He is known for hosting the Squawk on the Street program alongside fellow host Carl Quintanilla .
