ABOUT DAVID CASTELLO-LOPES
Journalist, comedian, and filmmaker who is best known for creating comedic videos infused with music that often go viral and become memes. He started the humorous YouTube series series Small Talk in 2022. His one-man show called Authentique first went live in 2023.
He earned a master's degree in History from the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne and in 2006 another in journalism from the French Press Institute in 2008.
He worked as an assistant to an art critic named Hector Obalk between 2005 and 2010. One of his most prominent jobs as a journalist was for L'Effet Papillon on Canal+. He also had a segment on Swiss Radio and Television's comedic program 52 Minutes.
His father is Gérard Castello-Lopes and his mother is Danièle Heimer.
His greatest inspiration is American YouTube star Bill Wurtz .
