ABOUT DAVE STEAD

Drummer who played with The Beautiful South until they disbanded in 2008.

He worked as an electrical fitter after high school until he became a sound engineer at the live music club, The Adelphi.

He played drums for his brother's band, The Luddites, at 16.

He moved with his mother and siblings to Cottingham after his parents separated. His older's brother's name is Mick.

H e and Elvis Presley briefly worked as electricians before pursuing music.
