She began modeling at the age of four in small-scale shows put on by her mother and videos of her performances helped grow her popularity.

She knows how to play trumpet and has performed in her school band. Her first real training was with a friend of her mother's named Timotheous Smart.

She has a fraternal twin named Dejohnna and another sister named Ashley.

She appeared on The Tyra Banks Show when she was only nine-years-old.
