ABOUT DARREL BROWN

Short distance sprinter who made his Olympic debut in 2004, and has won multiple medals at World Championships.

He was the gold medalist in the 100 meter sprint at the 2002 World Junior Championships.

In 2003 he set a Junior World Record in the 100 meter sprint, and the record stood for well over a decade .

He was born in Arima, Trinidad.

At the 2008 Olympics he competed against Usain Bolt .
