Goaltender who made his NHL debut in 1988 for the Buffalo Sabres, also playing for the Minnesota North Stars, Dallas Stars, and Phoenix Coyotes.
He played in the Alberta Junior Hockey League for the Pincher Creek Oilers.
In 1987, he became the first AHL goaltender ever to score a goal; he shot into an empty net from the other end of the ice.
He was born in Pincher Creek, Alberta, Canada.
Center Mike Modano was his teammate on the Stars.
