ABOUT DANIEL LYNCH

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the 2018 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended University of Virginia where he made history becoming the second UVA pitcher ever to record double-digit strikeout performances in four straight starts.

He began his professional career playing for the Royals' rookie affiliate the Burlington Royals.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Cleveland Indians on May 3, 2021.

He is the oldest of three siblings.

He played alongside Andrew Benintendi during the 2021 MLB season.
