ABOUT DANIEL DAY

Well known as Dapper Dan, he is a designer and haberdasher who opened the influential store Dapper Dan's Boutique. He was a pioneer in introducing hip hop artists to the high fashion world.

He started to develop his skill as a gambler at the age of 13. His gambling allowed him to open his store. He worked for a Harlem newspaper called Forty Acres and a Mule.

He launched a fashion line with Gucci in 2017. A year later, he opened a new store and atalier called Dapper Dan's of Harlem.

He grew up with three brothers and three sisters. His father was a civil servant and his mom was a homemaker.

Clients of his have included LL Cool J , Jay-Z and Salt-N-Pepa .
