ABOUT DAN SHERMAN
Pitcher for the Chicago Federals in 1914 who was nicknamed "Babe."
He grew up playing baseball in Hubbardsville, New York.
He only recorded a single out in his major league career. He gave up two runs, but they were unearned, so his career ERA was a spotless 0.00.
After he passed away, his family buried him at the White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
He played during the era when the infamous Ty Cobb was hitting and stealing his way into baseball record books.
