ABOUT CURTIS MEAD

Professional second baseman that was signed by the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in 2018. He was later traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in November 2019. He has also played in the Australian Baseball League during his professional career.

He initially began his career playing for the Adelaide Giants. After signing with the Phillies in May 2018, he was then sent to the GCL Phillies.

He was named the second-best MLB prospect in the Tampa Bays' farm system following the 2022 minor league season. He is the fourth South Australian baseball player ever to make it to the majors.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Adelaide, Australia. His father also once played in the Australian Baseball League.

He shares an October 26th birthday with Jon Heder .
