ABOUT CRISTINA SCABBIA
Italian vocalist best known as the lead singer of the Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil. She has also appeared as a guest vocalist on a number of metal albums.
She began touring as a backing vocalists for various bands in 1991 and joined Lacuna Coil when the band's name was Ethereal. Initially, she was brought on to be a session singer for the band.
She provided vocals for the 2013 Ayreon album The Theory of Everything.
She began a relationship with Slipknot guitarist Jim Root in 2004.
She and her close friend Vinnie Paul became co-authors of an advice column for the rock magazine Revolver.
