She began a career as a makeup artist for short films and documentary works before appearing on reality TV, and continued with the career path following the end of the series.

She was a burlesque dancer with the troupe The Hot Box Girls.

She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and relocated to Manhattan, NY. She has a sister named Jeanine. She married Jason in March 2014.

After six weeks, she and Jason Carrion had to decide if they would remain married, which they did.
