Colson Montgomery

ABOUT COLSON MONTGOMERY

Major league shortstop that was originally selected by the Chicago White Sox as a first round pick in the 2021 MLB Draft. Just a few years later, he was named one of the White Sox 'Top 10' MLB Prospects in their farm system. He also plays the position of second baseman.

He is a graduate of Southridge High School. If not for being drafted, he originally had plans of playing college sports at Indiana University .

He finished his high school career as Southridge's all-time leader in career points scored with 1,966. In addition to his basketball records, he also helped his school with their first state championship in baseball as well.

He grew up living with his parents and his siblings in Holland, Indiana.

He was selected during the 2021 MLB Draft just like Colton Cowser .
