ABOUT COLIN BURGESS
Most well known for his work with the rock band The Masters Apprentices, this Australian drummer was also part of the original AC/DC lineup. His hit singles with the former band include "Think About Tomorrow Today" and "Because I Love You."
Early in his career, he belonged to a psychedelic music group called The Haze.
While he was a member of The Masters Apprentices, the band scored four hit singles on the Australian Go-Set chart. He passed away in 2023 at the age of 77.
His brother, Denny, was his frequent musical collaborator. During the 1980s, the two were members of a hard rock group called His Majesty.
Burgess and Malcolm Young were both founding members of AC/DC, though Phil Rudd later replaced Burgess as the band's main drummer.
