ABOUT CLIVE CALDER
South African record executive known for founding the Zomba Group and its subsidiary Jive Records. In 1988 Jive branched out and started Silvertone, and then several more throughout the 1990's.
He studied business when he was young and founded his first record company in 1971 when he was twenty-five.
In 2012, he was ranked the second wealthiest music billionaire in Britain and number 521 on the Forbes billionaire list.
He was extremely protective of the privacy of his wife and his two children.
His record label, Jive, is credited with starting the careers of Britney Spears ,'N SYNC, and other pop artists of their era.
