In the year 2003, he graduated from St. Catherine elementary school in Somerville, MA. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a dual bachelor's degree in both sociology and political science.

He has been featured on Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Sports, Boston Globe, AP News, ABC, NBC, and CBS. He is the author of the book, "What Is Bitcoin?"

His parents are originally from Haiti.
