American guitarist who played with the Johnny Rivers band and The Mamas and The Papas.
He recorded his first single at age fifteen using the name "Bing Day". He continued to record as Bing Day for several years.
He is credited with developing the iconic guitar riff for the song "Secret Agent Man."
He grew up in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Los Angeles when he was twenty three.
He played on the Shel Silverstein album "Freaker's Ball."
