ABOUT CHRISTOPHER HAMPSON
British ballet dancer and choreographer. He performed with the English National Ballet and choreographed dance pieces for such companies as the Atlanta Ballet and the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
At the age of eleven, he began training at London's prestigious Royal Ballet School.
His classical ballet choreography earned him a Critics' Circle National Dance Award.
He was born in the town of Middleton in Lancashire, England, and he later settled in London.
He performed with the English National Ballet, a company that, during the 1990s and early 2000s, was led by dancer/choreographer Derek Deane .
