ABOUT CHRISTOPHER BISHOP
English scientist who has been part of Microsoft Research Ltd in Cambridge where he led the Machine Learning and Perception group.
He graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from St. Catherine's College, Oxford.
He started working as a Professor at Edinburgh in 1997.
He comes from an English family.
He was supervised by Peter Higgs when he earned a PhD in Theoretical Physics at the University of Edinburgh.
