ABOUT CHRISTIAN ROBINSON
American illustrator and animator known for his work on children's books. He was the illustrator for Matt de la Peña's acclaimed 2015 book Last Stop on Market Street. Before launching his career as an illustrator of children's books, he worked with Pixar Animation Studios and the Sesame Workshop.
He attended the California Institute of the Arts.
He received the Coretta Scott King Illustrator Honor for his work on Last Stop on Market Street. He shares his artwork on his theartoffun Instagram account, where he has earned more than 120,000 followers.
He was raised by his grandmother.
He provided illustrations for a 2016 reissue of Margaret Wise Brown 's 1958 book The Dead Bird.
