ABOUT CHRIS BYRD
Nicknamed Rapid Fire, he is a former WBO and IBF heavyweight champion, Olympic silver medalist.
He began training under his father at age 5.
Though he was typically a heavyweight, he won the silver medal in the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics as a middleweight.
His sister Tracy Byrd is also a professional boxer.
He won the WBO Heavyweight title by defeating Vitali Klitschko on January 4, 2000.
