ABOUT CHIP WILSON

Business executive and entrepreneur who is best known for founding the company known as LULULEMON in the year 1997, where he was the CEO until the year 2007 and he was chairman until the year 2013.

He moved to Calgary, Alberta at the young age of five. In 1973, he moved to Edmonton to attend university. He later received his BA in economics from the University of Calgary.

He is the founder of a company known as WestBeach Surf/Skate/Snowboard INC, as well as of LULULEMON ATHLETICA INC.
He is also the co-founder of a completely separate company known as Low Tide Properties LTD.

He and his wife Summer have three sons together. He has two other sons from a previous relationship.

He has mentioned that he has been influenced by novelist Ayn Rand .
