ABOUT CHASE MEIDROTH

Major league middle infielder that was originally drafted by the Boston Red Sox as a fourth rounder in 2022. Just two years later, he was ranked one of the Red Sox top 20 minor league prospects. He was eventually acquired by the Chicago White Sox via trade in December 2024.

Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of San Diego . As a sophomore, he earned first team All-WCC honors.

Besides playing baseball, he also has a passion for surfing. He first discovered his passion for surfing as a young boy.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Torrance, California. He is the oldest of two siblings.

He was once packaged in a trade that also included Garrett Crochet .
