She studied business administration at accadis Hochschule Bad Homburg. She began her presenting career as a weather girl for RTL Nord.

She has dabbled in acting, appearing in episodes of Pastewka, Die Märchenstunde, and Das Pubertier.

She has one sister, Henriette Engelhardt. She married German rapper Sido in 2012.

She cohosted Samstag Live! alongside Oliver Pocher .
