A multi-time Glam Award nominee, this founder and C.E.O. of the GaySocialites Media Group is also known for his life coaching and print and broadcast journalism work.

He studied communications at the University of Tennessee and subsequently worked as a Knoxville-based television news reporter. He earned his "gay socialite" nickname while advocating for political, LGBT, and animal rights groups in Tennessee.

In 2001, he appeared in four episodes of the popular comedy program Saturday Night Live.

A descendant of British Royal Navy Admiral William Wynter, he spent his youth in North Carolina and Tennessee and later relocated to New York City.

He had a much-publicized feud with Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak .
