ABOUT CHARLES PAUL
Prominent composer who worked in both radio and television and was best known for his soap-opera scores. He created music for "Another World," "One Life to Live," "All My Children, "Guiding Light," and many other legendary shows.
He gained experience on "The Adventures of Ellery Queen," "Young Doctor Malone," and other old-time radio programs. He started scoring "Love of Life" in 1953, his first soap opera.
He followed "Love of Life" with "The Secret Storm," where he developed the leitmotif of providing specific themes for particular characters.
He was married to Elsa Hedwig at the time of his death.
He created a memorable musical theme for Eileen Fulton 's character on "As the World Turns," the long-running CBS soap.
