ABOUT CHARLES INOJIE

Actor, comedian, director, and producer known as one of Africa's most famous comedic actors. One of his most notable roles is Lucky Johnson on the popular Nigerian comedy series The Johnsons. He has also appeared in numerous feature films including The Royal Hibiscus Hotel, Onitemi, and the Holy Man trilogy. He regularly uploads comedic videos for the 1.5 million followers he's amassed to his charlesinojie Instagram account.

He obtained a Certificate in Dramatic Arts from Bode Osoyin's Writers Resort in 1993 before graduating from the University of Port Harcourt in 1999. He joined various drama clubs and performed in local theater, eventually becoming the assistant director at well-known producer/director Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen's production company.

He was unanimously appointed president of the Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria's labor union in 2016.

He is married to his wife Obehi, with whom he has 2 children.

He appeared in The Royal Hibiscus Hotel, starring Zainab Balogun and Kenneth Okolie .
