ABOUT CASEY NEIL HOOPER

Became known as pop singer Katy Perry's lead guitarist. He has toured worldwide with the artist and performed at events such as the Super Bowl XLIX halftime headliner show, the Grammy's, and the opening of the cricket season in India.

He moved to Los Angeles straight from high school in 2005 to pursue his music career and was hired by Katy Perry in 2010.

He auditioned to play guitar for artists such as Selena Gomez , Adam Lambert and Avril Lavigne but was turned down.

He was born to parents Dave Hooper and Rebecca Cartwright in a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa. He has a brother named Spencer.

He and singer Andy Williams are both Wall Lake natives who have performed at the Super Bowl halftime show.
