ABOUT CARSON WHISENHUNT

Southpaw starting pitcher that was taken as a second rounder in the 2022 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at East Carolina University . During his final season at ECU, he was named a preseason All-American.

He first began his minor baseball career with the AZL Giants rookie affiliate team. He was later promoted to the San Jose Giants.

He made his official major league debut while playing against the Pittsburgh Pirates on July 28, 2025. Unfortunately, he lost his debut match by a score of 6-5.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is one of three siblings.

He attended the same high school as Whit Merrifield .
