He taught himself to play guitar from age ten.

He has appeared on more David Bowie tracks than any other musician, including on albums like 'Heroes' and Never Let Me Down.

His father was a Pentecostal Minister.

He formed the group Listen My Brother with artists like Luther Vandross .
