Musician and record producer who founded the Grammy-winning polka music act Brave Combo in 1979.

He worked with singer-songwriter Sarah Hickman.

He appeared on an episode of The Simpsons in 2004 along with other members of Brave Combo.

He grew up in Texas where he formed Brave Combo. He was a vegetarian.

He helped work on music for the film True Stories, which starred David Byrne .
