ABOUT CAPONE

New York rapper best known for his work as part of the duo Capone-N-Noreaga, a.k.a. C-N-N. His debut solo album, Pain, Time & Glory, was released in 2005. He is under the record label SMC Recordings, which works primarily with hip-hop artists.

He grew up in Queens and was arrested following the release of C-N-N's first album.

His song "I Need Speed" was featured in the 2005 racing video game Need for Speed Underground 2. In 2020, he launched his own clothing brand called Akasi Collection, with the name being inspired by his birth name.

His parents are of Haitian descent.

He was featured on the rap album of NBA player Ron Artest, a.k.a. Metta World Peace , titled My World.
