Cal Paul Quantrill
ABOUT CAL PAUL QUANTRILL
Professional pitcher that was drafted by the San Diego Padres during the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Cleveland Indians via trade in August 2020. In his amateur days, he won a silver medal representing the Canadian national team during the U18 Baseball World Championships in 2012.
He graduated from Trinity College School prior to enrolling at Stanford University .
He made his major league debut pitching against the Atlanta Braves on May 1, 2019 as a member of the Padres.
He is the son of Alyson and Paul Quantrill. His father played 13 seasons in the Majors.
He has played alongside Manny Machado and Wil Myers as a member of the Padres.
