ABOUT BUTCH TRUCKS
Founding member and drummer of The Allman Brothers Band. He also played with a band called The 31st of February.
He began his musical career with a Florida band called The Vikings.
He was the uncle of singer and guitarist Derek Trucks .
He and his wife Melinda had several children, including a son, Vaylor Trucks, who became a musician.
He and Duane Allman were both in The Allman Brothers Band.
