Born Warren Mathis, he is a southern rapper who is best known for the top 10 singles Ms. New Booty and Ugly.
He was discovered by manager Bobby Stamps at a University of Georgia football game, after he moved to Athens after he graduated high school.
He returned to music with the 2013 album Miracle on Gamble Road after a 7-year hiatus. In April 2022, his Spotify audience had reached over 1 million monthly listeners, with Ms. New Booty being the most widely streamed song at over 67 million total times on the channel. Ms. New Booty peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100.
He grew up with four older siblings in the small town of LaGrange, Georgia.
He featured Ray J on the 2008 single She Got Me Like.
