ABOUT BRYAN DENTON

Photographer who has been working out of Lebanon since 2006, where he often sends photos to the New York Times. He has more than 60,000 followers on his bdentonphoto Instagram account.

He graduated from New York University, majoring in Photography and Middle Eastern and Islamic studies.

He has published in TIME and Vanity Fair Italy. He also won the 2016 Robert Capa Gold Medal for his work on ISIS.

He has a son named Laith.

He and Harry Mattison are both photographers who have published work in TIME Magazine.
