Winner of 13 PGA Tournaments, as well as a Canadian Open title and seven Champions Tours.
He started playing golf at the age of five.
He compiled a sizable car collection, including a rare 1967 Corvette Stingray Convertible.
His older brother Duane first introduced him to golf, and a neighbor taught him the basics of the sport.
He appeared as one of the unnamed PGA players in the 1996 golf film Tin Cup with Kevin Costner .
