Brooks Baldwin
ABOUT BROOKS BALDWIN
Former 12th rounder that was originally selected by the Chicago White Sox during the 2022 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. He primarily plays the position of left field.
He was a two-sport athlete while at Whiteville High School. In addition to baseball, he also played soccer while in high school.
He made his official MLB debut while playing against the Kansas City Royals on July 19, 2024. A few weeks later, he hit his first MLB home run while facing Bailey Ober .
He is the son of Susan and Chuck Baldwin. His father, Chuck, played baseball professionally in the MLB for 11 years.
He was high school teammates with MacKenzie Gore .
