Professional southpaw that was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays during the third round of the 2014 Major League Draft. He was later traded to the Texas Rangers in 2018. He posts baseball updates to more than 3,000 followers on his Twitter content.
He is a graduate of Evergreen High School in Evergreen, Colorado. Prior to being drafted, he committed to play baseball at the University of Oregon .
He made his official major league debut pitching against the Los Angeles Angels on August 20, 2019, as a member of the Rangers. He pitched six scoreless innings during his debut.
Although he was born in Chicago, Illinois he grew up living with his family in Evergreen, Colorado.
He pitched against former Major League MVPs Shohei Ohtani , Albert Pujols , and Mike Trout during his MLB debut.
