Brian Edward Sweeney
ABOUT BRIAN EDWARD SWEENEY
Former American professional baseball pitcher who played with the Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres . He also had a tenure with Nippon Professional Baseball. He retired from pitching to become a pitching coach for the Kansas City Royals in Major League Baseball (MLB).
In the year 1992, he completed his studies at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, New York. He also graduated from Mercy College in New York, where he actively served as a starting pitcher.
He made his professional debut on August 16, 2003 for the Seattle Mariners.
He is from Yonkers, New York.
He replaced Ian Snell while playing for the Seattle Mariners.
